The City of Shelbyville does
its best to ensure that the public's safety, health and general welfare
are secured by enforcing the Shelbyville Municipal Code provisions relating to
Building, Housing, Health and Sanitation. Responsibilities of this
department include: building permit issuance and inspection, floodplain
management, tree preservation, building condemnations, removal of
disabled vehicles, noise abatement, high grass,
and the enforcement of
other rules and regulations that will enhance the community
of
Shelbyville.
