Vicki Robbins Director's Assistant Park & Recreation Center vicki.robbins@shelbyvilletn.org |
Shelbyville is my hometown, and I love it here: the friendliness, small
town feel, and the World Grand Championship Walking Horse Celebration.
After years of working at the State Capitol in Nashville, I wanted a
position closer to home. Being the Parks and Recreation Department
Director’s Assistant is perfect for me. I’m married to Danny
Robbins, who owns a security business. We have four children and three
glorious
grandchildren. My hobbies are flower gardening, interior decorating,
traveling and sports, especially Shelbyville basketball and football. |

Cindy Allen Senior Programmer Shelbyvillerec@shelbyvilletn.org |
I was born and raised in Bedford County. I graduated from Shelbyville Central High School and attended MTSU majoring in Elementary Education. However when I came to work at the Shelbyville Recreation Center in 1999, I soon realized that it was working with the "Senior" population that I was better suited. From assisting our senior population as a receptionist, to helping launch and overseeing our SilverSneakers program, and now our new 50 Plus Club, the enjoyment and satisfaction I receive from working with Bedford County's Seniors is unequaled. During my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis and spending time with my family and friends and my many, many cats |
