The City of Shelbyville Public Works Department
is responsible for maintaining Streets,
Sanitation & Hazardous Waste, Erosion & Storm Water, Driveway & Street Tiles, Cemeteries and City Signs. We are committed to our responsibility to provide safe, economical, and environmentally sound public road facilities and services. Public Works delivers a wide range of services that help define the quality of life for the residents of Shelbyville.  We are a department of 37 employees that work day and night to help maintain the health and safety of the community.  Public works employees are the most visible employees within the city.  You see us at every door and in the streets.  We hope this site will answer any questions you might have and inform you about your Public Works Department.  If you have any questions or comments, feel free to call or email.
